EndNote Workshops EndNote workshops are hold regularly by "Shiraz Institute for Cancer Research" in closed collaboration with Vice Chancellery for Research Affairs.
EndNote is the most popular bibliography software package and a basic requirement for today's researchers. By learning this software you will be able to: - Have a bank of the abstracts and full text of the papers
- Search on line-databases from inside your bank and add the results directly to your bank
- Ask the software to search internet for the full text of your desired paper. Software will automatically find it (if free), save it on your computer and attach it to your bank.
- Attach any types of files (including PDF, Figure, Chart, PowerPoint Presentation, Movie, MP3 and etc) to the references in the bank.
- Add references to the paper/thesis while you are writing- just with several clicks!!!!
- Make a list of references at the end of your paper/thesis in any format you would like- again, just with several click!!!
- Edit your paper, delete parts and do any change in the paper without even thinking about changes in the reference list. Software will automatically delete references from list and re-number all references.
- Do all the above performances with "Figures" and "Charts".

EndNote workshops (last version) for those from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences (SUMS) are regularly arranged by Medical School RCC. For enrolment you need to call RCC at 2336648. Note that announcement for all EndNote workshops are regularly sent to all SUMS email users. In each educational year, 10 to 15 workshops on EndNote are usually hold at Shiraz University of medical sciences for faculty members, research assistants and post graduate students. EndNote is now part of the research course of the medical residents of the university. Shiraz Institute for cancer research may also hold EndNote workshop for other universities and institutes following their request.
